How to Measure Your Head
- Use a soft measuring tape.
- Wrap it around your head just above your eyebrows and ears.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- The measurement in centimeters (cm) is your head size.
Tip: Measure with your hair styled the way you normally wear it, especially if you plan to wear a bun, ponytail, braids, curls, or added volume.

Both styles are designed to feel secure, breathable, and comfortable without flattening your hair. The elasticated back band adapts to fit head sizes from 55–63 cm.

Our hats are lined with OEKO-TEX® certified 100% mulberry silk — chosen for its exceptionally smooth, gentle feel against hair. Designed to help reduce friction, minimize frizz, and support moisture retention, the silk lining delivers elevated comfort and luxurious everyday hair protection.
Open-Top Design
The open crown allows ponytails, buns, curls, and volume to sit naturally while the structured brim helps provide shade and polish.
Straw and silk materials are globally sourced. Designed for breathable coverage, smoother contact, and easy warm-weather styling.

Signature Crown Wrap Hats
Our Signature Crown Wrap fedoras and sun hats require a little extra care because every crown wrap is individually handcrafted using layered fabrics, trims, embellishments, and hand-finished details.
- Fill the crown with soft clothing, such as t-shirts or socks, to help it maintain its shape.
- Place the hat upside down in your suitcase with the brim lying as flat as possible.
- Surround the crown with additional soft clothing to protect the handcrafted details.
- The brim may be gently folded or rolled when needed, but avoid collapsing the decorated crown.
Classic & Collapsible Styles
The crowns of these styles can be gently collapsed while packing to save space. After unpacking, use steam or a warm iron to reshape the crown and brim and restore the hat to its original form.
Includes the Soleil Classic, Soteria Classic, Soleil Flow, Eclipse, Eos, and most other Damazo styles without a handcrafted Signature Crown Wrap.
Reshaping After Travel
Minor creases or changes in shape can naturally occur while a hat is packed. Damazo hats can be reshaped quickly once you arrive.
- Reshape minor bends by gently working the crown or brim with your hands.
- Use steam to soften the material before shaping the crown or brim.
- A warm iron may be used directly on the crown or brim for more defined reshaping.
Avoid placing heavy items directly on top of your hat. When possible, pack it near the top of your suitcase with soft clothing around it for additional protection.

I’ve tried so many visors that wreck my edges, and this is the first one that actually doesn’t. The silk lining makes a huge difference. No frizz on my hairline. I wear it for walks, errands. It looks clean and elevated, not cheap.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I gotta say this visor surprised me. As a woman with natural hair (I keep my hair in twist outs mostly), I NEVER find visors that don’t pull on my edges. This one has the silk inside so it just slides on smooth, no frizz when I take it off. It’s super light too. The quality is not cheap at all, the straw feels strong but still flexible. The elastic in the back stretch enough for my puff which I appreciate because other hats just perch on my head. Customer service was also really good. I had a question about shipping because I needed it before a trip, and they emailed me back quick, like same day. They made sure it got here on time which I respect. The packaging was also really nice, came in a black box that felt luxury. Overall 10/10, definitely will be buying another style for vacation.

With braids, the last thing I need is extra tension or breakage at my edges. Every visor I’ve tried before pressed right where it hurts. This visor is lightweight and protective, and the silk lining keeps my braids smooth without roughing them up. Would recommend this to anyone who wears braids

I’m not someone who usually gets excited about fashion accessories, but this hat has really impressed me. I spend a lot of time outdoors here in the mountains. The Eclipse gives me all the coverage I need without feeling heavy or making me sweat. The open crown is amazing — it keeps my hair free, and I don’t get that awful “hat hair” when I take it off. But beyond that, it actually looks elegant. I wore it to an outdoor concert last month and had two women come up to me to ask where I bought it.
