Why I started Damazo
I was tired of choosing between my hair and my hat, so I built something better.
For years, I couldn't find a hat that was kind to my hair. Every one I tried left the same thing behind: flattened volume and frizz. So I stopped searching for the perfect hat and started designing it myself.
I wanted hats that look elevated and feel beautiful to wear, and that respect what's underneath. That meant starting from the inside. Every Damazo hat is lined in 22-momme, OEKO-TEX® certified 100% mulberry silk where it meets your hair, designed to help reduce friction and frizz, and shaped to give your hair room.
Zach and I run Damazo together, and every order ships from California. If a hat doesn't fit the way you want, we'll exchange your size for free.
