Unlike traditional hats, ours protect both your look and your hair’s health.
2. Will these hats work for straight hair too?
Yes! Our hats are made for all hair types. While they’re especially loved by women with curly, wavy, and voluminous hair, the silk lining benefits every strand—keeping straight styles smooth, sleek, and free of static.
3. How do I know which size to order?
We’ve made sizing simple with our Find the Perfect Fit Quiz, available on our website. In just a few questions, it helps you choose the best size and style for your hair and lifestyle.
4. How do I care for my Damazo hat?
- Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Avoid machine washing or submerging in water.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve shape and color.
5. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders. International shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout.
6. What is your return and exchange policy?
Size exchanges are free within the U.S. — we cover return shipping both ways, with no restocking fee. Just tell us within 14 days of delivery.
Signature Crown Wraps are individually handcrafted and are eligible for store credit exchanges only. Refunds are not available on Signature Crown Wraps.
All other hats are eligible for a refund within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping on refunds is $9.95, deducted from your refund. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we cover return shipping in full.
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- The product must be in its original condition.
- The product tag must still be attached.
- The item must be returned in its original Damazo packaging.
- The item must be unworn, unused, and free from damage.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, including expedited or priority shipping paid at checkout.

7. Are your hats silk lined or a blend?
Our hats are lined with OEKO-TEX® certified 100% mulberry silk — selected for its exceptionally smooth feel and gentle contact with hair. The silk lining helps reduce friction, minimize frizz, and support moisture retention while delivering a soft, luxurious feel designed for everyday wear.
8. How do I wear my hair with the hats?
- Down: The deep crown prevents flattening.
- Ponytail or bun: Choose a ponytail style, the Flow sun hat or the Veloura Flow cap, or go open-top with the Eclipse sun hat or the Eos visor.
- Protective styles: Braids, twists, or locs all fit comfortably without tugging or pressure.
