I bought the Soleil Turquoise for a winter trip to the Caribbean and ended up wearing it almost every day. It was sunny but breezy, and this hat stayed comfortable the entire time without feeling stiff or heavy
The brim has just the right amount of flexibility — it moves naturally and gives great sun coverage without looking floppy. I also loved the turquoise detail; it added something special without being too bold and worked with everything I packed. What really surprised me was how comfortable it was for long days out walking and sightseeing. My hair didn’t feel crushed or frizzy at the end of the day, which never happens with most straw hats.

I brought the Soleil Luxe with me on a Caribbean trip and ended up wearing it way more than I expected. It’s honestly one of the few hats I’ve owned that looks nice enough for dinners but still feels practical during the day.
The silk lining is a game changer. I have curly hair and usually avoid hats on vacation because they flatten my curls or leave my hair feeling dry. This one didn’t do that at all — my hair stayed smooth and comfortable even after long days in the sun and humidity.

My experience with the damazo customer service team was exceptional. I needed my purchase to be expedited around the holidays for a vacation I was leaving for. Unfortunately the package got delayed in shipping. The Damazo customer service team proactively reached out to me to let me know my order got delayed in shipping. I explained i need the hat before i left for vacation and they went ahead and sent me another hat with a different shipping carrier so it would arrive in time.
