- Use a soft measuring tape.
- Wrap it around your head just above your eyebrows and ears.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- The measurement in centimeters (cm) is your head size.

Will this flatten my curls or a blowout?
The crown is 6 in / 15.2 cm so volume has somewhere to sit. Choose Large if you wear extra lift, braids, or thick hair.
I’m between Medium and Large—what should I do?
Go Large for a relaxed, volume-friendly fit. Measure with hair styled the way you normally wear the hat.
Is the silk actually on the part that touches my hair?
Yes. The inner crown is lined in 22-momme 100% mulberry silk (OEKO-TEX®), the same idea as a silk pillowcase, where the hat meets hair.
Does it work for straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair?
The lining is smooth across textures. The deep crown is what keeps coils and protective styles from being crushed.
How do I keep the straw and lining looking new?
Spot-clean the exterior, keep it out of crushing bags, and store on a stand or stuffed crown so the fedora line holds.
